You have read about several young people who lived in colonial London Town. How do their lives compare to one another? In the early 1700s, Mehitable, Thomas, James, and Larkin lived and worked in their family's ordinary. Hannah was only fifteen when her parents left her with five young siblings to raise. She was newly married and in charge of a home and a family. Then there was Jacob. In 1762, he was enslaved by the Browns and without his own family.
